About

Our mission

To make professional quality organic matcha available to businesses across Europe, at the real price of the raw material, without the margins stacked up by the traditional distribution chain. The full offer is set out on the matcha B2B page.

The problem we solve

Sourcing bulk matcha from Europe is needlessly complicated. Traditional distributors impose minimum orders that are out of reach for a brand starting out, require an account to be opened and a negotiation to take place before they will even quote a price, and charge intermediation margins that add nothing to the finished product.

Buying direct from Japan or China, on the other hand, means handling customs clearance, documentary compliance, heavy metal and pesticide residue testing yourself, with lead times running into weeks and no recourse if a batch turns out to be non compliant.

What we do

We select a deliberately short list of references, all certified organic under Regulation (EU) 2018/848, and we hold them in stock in Europe. Prices are shown publicly, they are the same for everyone, and the minimum order is a single bag.

Every batch comes with its certificate of analysis and its technical documentation, available on request. You know exactly what you are buying before you pay.

Our principles

  • Public pricing. No price negotiated case by case, no account to open in order to find out a price. One price per kilo per reference, shown online.
  • One bag is enough. You should be able to test a material before committing a production budget.
  • Open documentation. Technical documents are available without having to ask for them three times.
  • Restraint on claims. We sell a raw material and we describe its technical characteristics. Health claims belong to your finished product and to the regulation that applies to it.

Three references, three uses

Matcha is not a single product. Japanese ceremonial grade is drunk in the cup and is judged on colour, fineness and absence of bitterness. Stone ground grade AA targets cup quality at a cost that works for volume. Culinary grade is made to be processed: latte, pastry, food supplement, extract standardised in catechins.

We have not tried to cover the whole market. These three references cover almost every real need a manufacturer or a brand has.

Who we sell to

Food supplement manufacturers, tea brands, roasters and tea houses, pastry chefs and ice cream makers, coffee shop chains, contract manufacturers, distributors, and private individuals who want to buy at wholesale price. The price is the same for everyone.

Who we are
