Shipping and returns

These terms apply to every order placed on our matcha B2B range.

Areas served

We deliver to mainland France, across the whole of the European Union, to Switzerland and to the United Kingdom. For any other destination, write to us at contact@wholesale-matcha.eu and we will prepare a quotation.

Lead times

Destination Indicative lead time
Mainland France 3 to 5 working days
European Union 5 to 8 working days
Switzerland and United Kingdom 6 to 10 working days, customs formalities included

Lead times run from confirmation of payment. Any order confirmed before 12pm on a working day is prepared the same day.

Orders covering several bags travel on a pallet and then require an appointment to be booked with the carrier, which can add time. Make sure you have a loading dock or a suitable means of unloading, or tell us at the time of ordering if you need a tail lift.

Shipping costs

Delivery is free to mainland France and within the European Union from €500 excluding VAT of goods. Below that amount, costs are calculated automatically according to weight and destination, and shown before you confirm your order.

VAT and customs

Prices are shown excluding VAT. French VAT is added at payment for deliveries within France.

Businesses established in another European Union member state and holding a valid intra-community VAT number may be exempt from French VAT under the rules on intra-community supplies. Enter your number when ordering, it is checked before dispatch.

For Switzerland and the United Kingdom, goods travel free of tax. Customs duties and import VAT are paid by the recipient at the time of customs clearance.

Receiving the goods

Check the condition and the number of parcels in the presence of the driver. In the event of damage, a shortage or damaged packaging, write precise and complete reservations on the delivery note, have them countersigned, then confirm them to the carrier by registered letter within three working days. Tell us at the same time at contact@wholesale-matcha.eu, with photographs.

A general note along the lines of subject to unpacking has no legal value and does not allow the carrier to be held liable.

Returns

Consumer customers. You have fourteen days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal. Bags must be returned intact and unopened, in their original packaging. For reasons of hygiene and food safety, a bag whose seal has been broken cannot be taken back. Return costs are yours. Refunds are made within fourteen days of receipt.

Business customers. The right of withdrawal does not apply between businesses. Goods are neither taken back nor exchanged, unless we have agreed in writing beforehand or a lack of conformity has been established.

Non conformity

If a batch does not match the specifications of its certificate of analysis, contact us immediately stating the batch number and keeping a sample in its original packaging. We carry out a counter analysis and, if the non conformity is confirmed, we replace the batch or refund it in full, with return costs at our expense.

Storage after delivery

Keep the bags in their original packaging, closed, in a dry, clean and ventilated room, away from direct light, air and sharp changes in temperature. Matcha is sensitive to oxidation and to light: an opened bag must be resealed tightly and used quickly, otherwise the colour turns and the aromatic profile degrades. Under these conditions, shelf life is 24 months from the date of production shown on the bag. For prolonged storage, we recommend keeping it cool, below 10 °C.
