Organic standard grade matcha green tea, from Camellia sinensis grown under organic farming in China. Selected leaves, dried then finely milled. A straightforward, slightly full bodied taste that holds in the mouth once mixed with milk, sugar or a batter.

A word on EGCG
Matcha is naturally rich in epigallocatechin-3-gallate. The comparison explains why culinary grade is richer in EGCG than ceremonial grade. If your finished product is a food supplement or an extract, the daily portion must stay below 800 mg of EGCG.
